24h Le Mans: LMP2 die wahren Gewinner? / 24h Le Mans: LMP 2 the real Winners?

In zwei Wochen steht wieder das, zusammen mit dem Nürburgring, prestigeträchtigste 24h-Rennen der Welt an.
Wie gewohnt gehen unter anderem die LMP1 und LMP2 Boliden sowie die Profis und "Amateure" der GT Klasse an den Start.

Ja, "wie gewohnt" ist hier das Stichwort. In der LMP 1 heisst es wieder Audi vs. Toyota.
Ich bin definitiv keiner der auf Audi herumkloppt, obwohl das "Audi Bashing" ja mittlerweile normal ist. Nur ist es wieder zu erwarten, dass die Audiarmada wieder den Sieg holen wird. Toyota düfte wieder engster Kandidat sein um Audi gefährlich zu werden, aber hier wirft sich berechtigterweise die Frage auf: Halten die Autos? Wenn ja könnte es spannend werden.
Letztes Jahr war die Sache schnell klar.
Sollte es der Fall sein, dass sich Audi und Toyota gegenseitig so sehr in die Parade fahren, könnte Rebellion der lachende Dritte sein.

Wenn ich in die "kleine" Prototypen-Klasse schaue, sieht dort die Welt massiv anders aus.
Dort muss um jede Sekunde gefightet werden, da hier die Teilnehmerzahl fast dreimal so groß ist.

Und bei Teams wie Gulf-Racing, OAK, G-Drive, Level 5 Motorsport, und Starworks, welche auch noch entsprechend erfahrene Fahrer mitbringen, ist hier ähnlich wie in der GT3 Klasse am Nürburgring ein 24h-Sprint-Rennen zu erwarten.
Genau hier möchte ich ansetzen: Wenn ich mir die Leistungsdichte der LMP-2 Klasse anschaue und diese mit dem "Werks-Spielplatz" LMP-1 vergleiche (Rebellion mal ausgenommen), ist ein Sieg in der LMP-2 eigentlich mehr wert frei nach dem Sprichwort "Viel Feind, viel Ehr". Daher sollte dieser Klasse eigentlich mehr oder zumindest gleiche Aufmerksamkeit wie der LMP-1 Klasse geschenkt werden. Der wahre Gewinner eines solchen Rennen ist in meinen Augen der, der am härtesten und besten dafür gearbeitet hat!

Bin auf Meinungen gespannt!

Two weeks ahead is the 24h-Race in Le Mans. It´s together with the Nürburgring, the most prestigeous race in the World.
As usual the LMP1 and LMP2 category cars will fight for the Victory as well as the pros ans "amateurs" in the GT-Class.

As I said: "As usual". That is a good point. In the LMP1 Class Audi and Toyota will battle each other.
I am definately no Audibasher but it is expecte, that the "Audiarmy" will be victorius. Toyota is the closest opponet for Audi, but will the cars developed in Cologne endure the 24h this year?
Well IF it is the case then we might get a very thrilling race in LMP1. In the Last Year the Case Audi vs. Toyota was closed pretty fast.
The "laughing" Third could be Rebellion Racing, if Audi and Toyota might "Eliminate" each other by chasing each other very hard through the French streets.
But normally the Things seem to be pretty clear in LMP1

Now I take a look at the LMP2 Class: In this class everything is different!
Beside Surviving the 24h, in the LMP2 Class will have a hard fight for every second, because they got almkost three times more participants than in LMP1.

With teams like, Gulf-Racing, OAK, G-Drive, Level 5 Motorsport and Starworks, which also will bring a high class driver line-up, a 24h-Sprint race, similar to the GT3 Class at the N24h, is to be expected.

Here I want to point out my Headline:
I look at the Competition in LMP2 and I compare this to the "Works-Playground" LMP1 (Rebellion to exclude) in my opinion a LMP2-Class Victory in Le Mans is more worthy than a LMP1 Win.
Why?
Because "The more "Enemies" you got, the more honour you will get after beating them"
So the attention should be more on the LMP2 than on LMP1 or at least equal!
The REAL winner is in my opinion the Team, which got to work the hardest for the victory!

D: Zu später Stunde wieder ein neuer Blog, nix wildes. Hier fasse ich meine Gedanken zu aktuellen Motorsportereignissen zusammen. Beschäftigen werde ich mich hier mit dem GT-, Prototypen und dem Langstreckensport am Nürburgring und auf der restlichen Welt.
Das geschiet je nachdem wie ich die Zeit finde :-)
